The waterfall pictures were taken at Bash Bish Falls in MA and Kent Falls in CT. Among the many beautiful locations represented here are Fannie Stebbins, Stanley Park, the Deerfield River, Chesterfield Gorge, Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary, High Ledges, Bartholomew's Cobble, Cobble Mountain Reservoir, DAR State Forest and Robinson State Park (beautiful:not, local:yes). Most of the Maine wildflower pictures were taken either at the Augusta Arboretum or in the Augusta/Gardner region. |

To best experience this site, you would have IE 5.5 and above, Netscape 6 and above, Opera or Mozilla, or any other fairly recent browser (in a perfect world, no one would still be using version 4 Netscape browsers!). If you're using a laptop or 14" monitor with 640x480 resolution, I apologize. 800x600 is the minimum, but larger resolution would be ideal. And lastly, I try to keep image sizes around 100k with progressively displaying pictures for slower dialup connections. For those of you with broadband connections, I've given you the option of viewing larger pictures. If all you see (below this paragraph) is a blank box, you can get the Flash plugin, but Flash is not necessary to navigate or view pictures on this site. If you see the message, you are Flash enabled. |

What's the Flash deal on brivers.com? There are only a few Flash features in Wildflowers and Butterflies. You'll find a 12 piece Fritillary jigsaw puzzle, a 20 piece Bash Bash Falls jigsaw puzzle, and a wildflower quiz that was developed with the young nature lover in mind. |
